Joyful and Blessed Moments with Children from Love Children’s Home

MCC team visited the Love Children’s Home in Hmawbi Township on November 9, 2019, and we donated school supplies, ice-cream and snacks for 150 children.

Love Children’s Home is a peaceful and lovely place created by a lovely couple who built 12 network orphanages across Myanmar that collectively care for more than 500 children. They started their first orphanage since 1995 with 20 children, then the number of children grew rapidly over the year.

When we arrived at the school, seeing the children cheerful and friendly, waving and smiling at us made us feel overwhelmed and loved. They smiled, laughed, and clapped as we prepared to provide them the gifts. It was a very short visit, but we managed to talk with them and watched them enjoy the snacks and ice-cream we gave them.

We, MCC members had a fulfilling experience as we created memories and valuable time together with lovely children. We realized we should give back to the society and help people live to the fullest.
